Suzuki SV650 2016
Easily one of the most iconic motorcycles ever produced by Suzuki, the SV650 has always been a favorite of new riders just looking to get their bearings on a motorcycle and more experienced riders that are looking for something fast, something safe, and something fuel-efficient.
Even though it hasn’t been offered from Suzuki brand-new for a couple of years now, the engineers at this Japanese motorcycle manufacturer have decided to bring the SV650 back for 2016 – and it’s already creating some pretty lofty expectations.
From a purely aesthetic standpoint, the Suzuki SV650 is a bit of a throwback to more traditional motorcycles, the kinds of motorcycles that were driven by guys like Steve McQueen.
Very much retro inspired, this is the kind of muscled down sports bike that people have been going crazy for recently come as opposed to the slick lines of the superbike arena.
The new design of the 2016 Suzuki SV650 also features more than 60 brand-new parts, responsible for producing a lot more power, a lot more pork, and significantly boosted fuel economy across the board. The engineers turned over every single rock when they were creating this bike!
Effortless to control and a lot of fun to ride, the SV650 features a 650cc v twin engine capable of producing some pretty impressive numbers as far as top-end speed, acceleration, and pure power are concerned.
It’s also 15 pounds lighter than it used to be in the past, and now features ABS or non-ABS braking systems and 290mm and 240mm breaks to help you stop on a dime when you need to most.
Combine that with fuel efficiency that pushes 80 miles per gallon (and a fuel tank that offers almost 4 gallons of fuel when it is completely full), and you’re looking at a bike designed not only for city commutes but also for longer trips as well.
If you have been hoping to get your hands on a brand-new motorcycle that looks, feels, and performs like a top-of-the-line machine without having to break your bank account to do so, you’ll want to look closer at the new Suzuki SV650 2016 option.
