2017 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10 RR
Kawasaki has revealed the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10 RR to the public, a special edition of the Ninja that is specifically made and designed to conquer the roads and race tracks. In order for this Ninja to be able to achieve its goal, its overall weight has been reduced by stripping away all the unnecessary parts of the bike.
One highlight that makes this Ninja ZX-10 RR become lighter in weight is that it is sports bike with only one seat. In other words, it only has a rider seat without a passenger seat. Moreover, 7 spoke forged aluminium Marchesini wheels are put in not only for weight reduction, but also for better handling. Together with the lightweight exhaust pipe, the bike is able to reduce up to 1 kg when compared to its standard editions. As a result of the successful weight reduction of the bike, in Kawasaki’s drive test at the Autopolis Circuit, the Ninja ZX-10 RR was able to complete its course using 2 seconds less than the standard version.
What makes each of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10 RR unique is that each of them would have their very own manufacture number printed on its suspension part. The fairing part also has an imprinted RR Race Ready logo that matches with the RR logo on the keys. Not only that, the bike also has snowflake logos that reflects the similarity in Kawasaki’s Winter Racing test bikes. These things will compliment the Ninja ZX-10 RR to stand out from other standard versions.
Because it is a special edition of the bike, there will only be 1000 of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10 RR produced worldwide. This number includes the 30 that will be distributed to Thailand in 2017. So next year, prepare yourselves to spend at a price of 785,000 Baht if the Ninja ZX-10 RR is a part of your must-have list.
