The Subaru XV made its debut Geneva International Motor Show in 2017. It is a crossover vehicle that combines the SUV capability with a compact boxy. The Subaru XV offers versatility in both the countryside and urban areas. This is its first redesign since its launch in 2012.  

This vehicle will offer the driver world-class hazard avoidance and collision safety performance along with ride comfort and more responsive handling. There are many different key features of this vehicle, the Subaru XV 2018. In the United States it is referred as the Crosstrek. It is designed to be more of an off-road vehicle because of the extra cladding around the wheel wells, the side skirts, and bottom of the rear and front fascias. With it being a hatchback, the rear seats have a 60/40 split to allow for more cargo room. The engine is lighter in the Subaru XV 2016 thus improving fuel economy and delivering more power.

Exterior

Preventive safety

  • High Beam assist has a monocular camera that will automatically switches from high to low beam according to the road conditions.
  • It is EyeSight, which is a driver assist technology. It assists drivers with Lane Keep Assist, Pre-Collision Braking Control, and Adaptive Cruise Control
  • The Subaru XV is using the two headlight controls for the first time, which will improve dramatically the recognition capabilities of this new software and improve night-time visibilities
  • Subaru Rear Vehicle Detection offers reversing assistance, blind spot detection, and lane change assistance.
  • Has an all-wheel drive system that has been update to offer optimized control of the engine and increased drivability.
  • The system will apply to applying brakes when you are traveling to give you more traction to help prevent tire slippage on slippery surfaces and downhill travel.
  • The center of gravity of the Subaru XV is 5 mm lower to help with maneuverability 

The Subaru XV 2018 is a compact SUV that is conveniently sized with a very spacious interior.
