All new MINI Clubman 2016

Ever since the very first MINI Cooper hit the scene almost 50 years ago, this car company has been all about designing innovative new vehicles that push the boundaries of traditional design and performance to produce iconic means of transportation that are almost instantly collectible.

The same can be said about the All new MINI Clubman 2016, that’s for sure.

Though it isn’t quite as compact or as "crushed" as the original Coopers used to be, this is still very much a MINI through and through. It’s a little bit more grown-up, a little bit more subdued, but it is still definitely the “oddball” of the automobile world – and that’s exactly how it’s fans like it!

Design

Though it isn’t exactly the biggest vehicle on the block by any stretch of the imagination (only measuring 168.3 inches long, just 12 inches or so longer than the previous Clubman), it is still going to offer quite a bit more luxury space in the interior and especially a bit more storage space in the trunk or boot.

At the same time, it maintains the iconic form factor that helped to put MINI on the map, so you won’t have to worry about losing that!

Performance

From a performance standard, you’re still going to be able to fly along the highways and byways of the world behind the wheel of the MINI Cooper, so don’t worry about that.

This is possible thanks to the dual versions of the brand-new Clubman Each of which takes advantage of a powerful engine and transmission to get the job done right.

The “entry-level” Cooper Clubman features a 1.5 L three cylinder turbo engine matched to a six speed manual, while the Cooper S Clubman features a 2.0 L turbocharged four-cylinder engine with optional eight speed automatic transmission.

At the end of the day, if you’re looking for an iconic vehicle that’s just a bit larger than the traditional Coopers used to be called without sacrificing any of the fun design or heritage of the MINI automobiles, you’re going to want to take a much closer look at the All new MINI Clubman 2016.
