ALL NEW 2016 JAGUAR XF

While most people were expecting a refresh of the Jaguar XF for some time now, everyone is still pretty surprised that a new version of this much beloved sports car was actually unveiled.

Head and shoulders above pretty much everything that Jaguar has been offering for some time, this automaker has been living off of the older version of the XF for some time. Most expected the 2016 Jaguar XF to be special, but none of them could have anticipated it being as special as this.

Overall Design

The exterior of the 2016 Jaguar XF remains very much the same as the past generation, with a handful of more aggressive features throughout. The interior, however, has been almost completely overhauled from the ground up, resulting in a vehicle that is a lot more fun to drive – and a lot more fun to ride around in as well.

There’s a new infotainment center built right into the center of this Jaguar, and it is garnering a lot of (well-deserved) attention.

Performance Specs

Jaguar has yet to release information in regards to their engine and drivetrain choices, though we do know that there will be a rear and all-wheel-drive option and that they are considerably slimmer than they were in the past.

The rear wheel version comes in at 132 pounds lighter while the all-wheel-drive system is close to 265 pounds lighter. This will help the 2016 Jaguar XF go from 0 to 60 in less than five seconds.

Standout Features

As we mentioned above, the infotainment center that this new motor comes with is absolutely second to none. It will instantly interface with smart devices (including your smart phone), and also provide instantaneous feedback about the automobile itself. The intuitive system is effortless to use, and everything just kind of connects on its own – and disconnects when you leave – so you don’t have to worry about learning another new piece of technology along the way.

Safety and Efficiency

The inclusion of the Adaptive Surface Response system in the 2016 Jaguar XF means that the vehicle will always monitor road conditions and then modify the behavior of the suspension (and other vehicle components) to make sure that you are as safe and sound while driving as humanly possible.
